The Program is a Mixture of 3 Key Programs TAI CHI Considered one of the oldest forms of Martial Arts, Tai Chi relaxes the mind as it strengthens, stretches and reconditions the muscles. Often called \“meditation in motion\” Tai Chi uses a consistent flow of movement combined with deep abdominal breathing to relax and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. Chi Gung is the art of balancing internal energy within your body to achieve physical, mental and spiritual health. Chi Gung training uses the mind to move chi energy throughout the body and to cultivate willpower, patience and endurance. With proper training you can learn to gain more energy, and even slow down the signs of aging.

Kouk Sun Do is gentle exercise that helps to eliminate the division between body and mind, as it restores full physical function and relieves pain. The exercises are designed to give you greater freedom of movement and increased performance.

This place is a gem. My husband and I enjoy and look forward to working out here. Charles is one of the best instructors and takes the time to teach every technique till we get it right. We have attended both USA boxing and Muay Thai with him and they have been really great learning experiences. We also love the Cardio Bags class which is more intense but very fulfilling. There is also an energy movements class which is very relaxing at the end of the week. We had tried kickboxing at a different studio and it felt like we were being rushed into the moves with no focus on technique..and we thought this is not for us. Alton St. Boxing however changed our minds and I'm very glad we found this place! It is clean, not crowded and the instructors genuinely pay attention to each student!

I've been taking boxing classes here for a few months and love it. The staff and other students are very welcoming and down-to-earth. The workouts are unlike anything I've done before and leave me feeling so happily exhausted. Heartily recommend!

My 13-year old daughter has been attending classes at Alton Street Boxing & Fitness for almost one year. She has gained an impressive level of skill as well as fitness attending 1-2 classes per week. More importantly, she absolutely loves it. Charles and the other instructors have a great tone with kids, treating them with respect and setting high expectations with positive reinforcement. It is a clean and neat studio and the on-line sign up process for classes couldn't be easier. My only reason not to give 5 stars would be to keep this gem less well known!
